The Peterhof Palace is actually a series of palaces and gardens, laid out on the orders of Peter the Great and this is the home of royal people and Russian monarchs. These Palaces and gardens are sometimes referred as the "Russian Versailles". The palace-ensemble along with the city center is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Millions of tourists all over the world come to visit the magnificent site of the palaces and grounds of Peterhof together with the entire St. Petersburg.

Excursion to Peterhof by car, minivan or hydrofoil can take up to 5 hours both ways. It is located about 40 km from St. Petersburg city center.

The Grand Palace museum and Special Storeroom are open: 10.30 – 19. Closed on Monday and last Tuesday of every month.
